Kentucky bourbon exports hit record high as global demand surges

Kentucky's signature spirit is enjoying a global moment, with distillers reporting record export volumes for the fifth consecutive year.

Industry groups credited rising demand in Europe and Asia, along with a wave of new visitor centers along the Bourbon Trail that have turned tourism into a year-round draw.

Producers cautioned, however, that tariffs and shipping costs remain a persistent risk to continued growth.
